Toukley Preschool Kindergarten Inc. Is a not-for-profit, community-based preschool established in 1967 to provide quality preschool education and care, preparing children for the transition to school.

We offer affordable, high quality care and education provided by fully qualified and experienced staff.

We are a two unit preschool catering for the early education of children 3 - 6 years. We are licensed to provide care for up to 40 children per day, Monday to Friday, excluding all Public School Holidays and Gazetted State and National Public Holidays.

About Us

Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (EYLF) model. The EYLF communicates the key ideas of Belonging, Being and Becoming through the learning outcomes; children have a strong sense of identity; children are connected with and contribute to their world; children have a strong sense of well-being; children are confident and involved learners; and children are effective communicators.

Toukley Preschool Kindergarten would like to acknowledge the contributions of the traditional custodians of this land and pay respect to Elders both past and present.

We acknowledge the contribution of Aboriginal Australians, Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Aboriginal Australians to the education and care of all children and people in this country that we share.

As we share our own knowledge, teaching and learning may we also pay respect to the knowledge embedded forever within the Aboriginal Custodianship of our country.

Our staff are the heart and soul of our preschool. The continuity of our staff is something we are very proud of. Our staff remain constant from year to year and the fact that many of them have been employed by Toukley Preschool for well over 15 years is testament to the happy working environment provided by the service. My son attends the same preschool I went to over 30 years ago! It's nice to see things don't change, a friendly community preschool with great teachers who genuinely care about the children. A fun learning environment with lots of support and provide real, valuable feedback that help us decide on our child's future

I looked around all the preschools in the area before I chose to send my 2 children to Toukley Preschool. I have been very happy with all aspects of the pre-school. Every morning that I drop off my children, I feel confident that the staff will look after my children with care and enthusiasm.
